Condition Reports & Testing

Electrical Installation Condition Reports – a bit of a long phrase for a very very important aspect of our work.

These reports are compiled after a full and thorough test of the parts of the electrical installation that are required to be tested. That might be just one circuit – it might be the entire installation.

The purpose of the report is highlight any dangerous parts of the installation, any parts that might give trouble in the near future and any parts that do not meet current regulatory requirements. If you have none of these that’s great a clean bill of health. If you do have some of these they will be highlighted on the report – following which a course of remedial action can be followed.

These reports are used for property purchase, landlords for property rental, professional opinion for doubt over the suitability of work carried out.

We have professional indemnity insurance to cover us for carrying out these reports.

Do not skimp on having these done – get in a professional with years of experience – don’t be price led. A good quality report by an NICEIC registered contractor can save you lots of money – a poor report carried out by an unregistered person could cost you an awful lot more.

With 35 years in the industry we are well placed to provide you with a comprehensive report – get in touch to find out more.

Periodic inspections are designed to pick things up like loose connections shown below.
